About HCFM

Carpenter and Company, Inc. established Health Care Facilities of Missouri in 1991. HCFM has put to rest the frustration of uncontrollable Worker's Compensation costs and inadequate service by implementing a tailor-made Loss Control Program and aggressive claims management philosophy. HCFM is a self-funded Worker's Compensation program meaning we return any surplus premium, after claims and expenses, back to the member. HCFM has returned over $50,000,000 in premium back to our members.
Representing over 180 senior living facilities in the state of Missouri with over $7,000,000 in annualized premium. HCFM maintains competitive prices - our primary rate used in the premium calculation was reduced in 2011 and has stayed stable since that time. HCFM was created to help its members control the high cost of Worker's Compensation.

HCFM Management Strategies
HCFM will host the Management Strategies Seminars for 2026 virtually via Zoom.
The seminars will take place Wednesday and Thursday from 9:00 am - 11:45 am central. You may attend one or both days for a total of 5 Administrator clock hours.
